this might seem like a boring movie and yes i can assure you it was quite boring to me as i seem to want to skip scenes here and there. i didn't really care for the characters and their back stories. i am all about food. i am all about the way they prepared food like that. so well and nicely done. i am not a good cook myself so if i see someone cook it amazes me.
especially the part when they decided to make this 50(?)course meal for these top important people and everytime they make new meals they place them in this small black table like stool and it just keeps piling up further and further so they would need people to scoop some up for them because you know, they are really important people.
it is my favorite, for the food that is. so overall i give this movie a 6.5/10.

oh wow. i don't even know how to explain such a good movie like this one. its such a slow burn. but i just love it so much. i love each and every interaction with yonosuke. i love how even if they judged him, they somehow got use to him and frankly enjoyed being with him. i also love that they remembered him in a way that it felt lucky knowing him(?)
yonosuke is such a nice person so sometimes i feel bad about the way he treats people because he doesn't know any better and he is kind of stupid sometimes but that is THE yonosuke for ya lol.
i suck at movie opinions. but overall i give this movie a 9/10.

this movie is my comfort movie. i can't tell you how many times i have rewatched this knowing the content of the movie and wanting to watch it more and more. this movie gets put on during my cleaning days, during my days where i just want to use my pc or days where i just use it as background noise while i journal or whatelse. its a nice a refreshing movie. i just love the dynamic relationship between the sisters and how getting a new little sister changed their mindsets.
i think all the actresses played their characters so well. their role is so perfect for them. whoever chose them did a perfect job at chosing the right actresses for the role. lol ok enough about that.
overall this movie i give it 10/10 only because i am biased like that.

love looove this movie. and only this movie. i heard in the anime it gets weird and i don't want that. so lets forget about the anime and focus on the movie yah? lol. anyways. i am all for this because i like topics like dude adopts his 6 year old aunt type of shit. but i like the challanges he faces with his "daughter". it makes them grow close to eachother. makes them feel comfortable with eachother. i just loved how their relationship as father and daughter bloomed while watching his movie. and how everyone in his family warms up to her because she is just a child. my favorite part of this movie is when he comfronts the mother of the child and gets disgusted when she doesn't really care for her and later on in the ending of his daughters play he sends the mother a picture of her smiling and there we can see she kind of regrets something. maybe leaving her child like that but that is just my assumptions. my other favorite thing about this movie is how his house was so bland before having all these hanging decorations all over his house. its so cute how dedicated he was in making his home more comfortable for her.
overall this movie gets a 11/10. i love movies like this. truly amazing.

i went into this movie not knowing i was going to cry. i loved everyone in there. i love how, instead of just accepting that you're going to die, she accepted to die with a plan in mind. like i'm watching the movie and everything goes smoothly and nice and then you're reminded of her sickness and then you forget about it and then get reminded again. i love how though she has a plan in mind, its going to hurt alot of people and knowing that in the end she did what was right. bringing family together before she goes and im pretty sure that bath house was made so they can have an income. she is also a nice and caring person and i loved that. makes me wnt to appreciate family and friends more ya know?
this movie gets a 9.5/10.

this movie is also my favorite comfort moving. i use to have these two movies downloaded onto a flashdrive i had. it was there so i can access the movie without actually going to a website to watch it. i like there there's two parts of this movie. both explaing each dish that contricutes to the season and the memories she had with the dish. and the relationships between the main character and her friends. its a slow paced movie and yet i could watch it for days. this movie also taught me how to cook certains foods. i just love the process of her cooking and farming and how she appreciates the elders working hard to live too. like i mentioned before, each dish she makes is something she remembers her mom making and you know i am all about food so this movie was just a perfect movie to watch while eating food. it also tells you about how sometimes living in the city can really put stress on you sometimes. working so much and still can't afford food, sometimes buying premade food just for it to taste bad. having bad relationships and sometimes, running away.
overall i give this movie a 11/10. i love this movie a lot.
